Why ‘Stretching’ Doesn’t Work (The Way You Think It Does)

This is a great article about exercise and ‘stretching’ and why it doesn’t work the way we think it does. It seems “What we are doing with our bodies most of the time thoroughly trumps how hard we may be capable of working out (or stretching) for a small portion of our day.”

This will not be news to those familiar with the Alexander Technique. Our focus is on helping  you to change the way you sit, stand and move (including how you do a forward fold in yoga) by challenging your habitual movements, and trying out incremental changes.
